PRC National People's Congress, Decision on the Selection Process of the Hong Kong Chief Executive, August 31, 2014
China's National People's Congress Standing Committee issues it decision regarding the method by which Hong Kong's Chief Executive Officer shall be chosen. This decision triggered the so-called Umbrella Movement demonstrations in Hong Kong that lasted until December 2014.
