In-person teacher workshop at UCLA on September 16

Hi,

For those of you in the LA area, I am organizing an in-person workshop at UCLA on Saturday, September 16.

UCLA Center for Korean Studies and the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Los Angeles are proud to present this in-person workshop for K-12 educators to learn about 20th-century Korea and how to apply history, literature, and popular culture into their curricula. In recognition of the70th anniversary of the Korea-US Alliance, this workshop will look at the Korean War and its continued impact today. Participants will receive complimentary parking, refreshments and lunch, and resources for them to take back to their classrooms. Free but limited to the first 70 educators who register using the QR code on the flyer or on the CKS website.
