The Policy & Practice of Dual Immersion: Planning for the Secondary Years

The UCLA Graduate School of Education & Information Studies and UCLA Confucius Institute present a conference that brings together scholars, educators, school administrators, and policy makers to share the latest research and successful program models, and to discuss how best to develop successful, sustainable dual immersion programs in California’s secondary schools.

The Policy and Practice of Dual Immersion conference brings together scholars, educators, school administrators, and policy makers to share the latest research and successful program models, and to discuss how best to develop successful, sustainable dual immersion programs in California’s secondary schools.
 
The conference will feature panels of experts discussing dual immersion education at the local and national levels, as well as interactive sessions to facilitate cross-disciplinary exchange and collaboration. Topics will include the teacher preparation pipeline, curriculum development needs and resources, and national policies and initiatives.
