Beijing-based choreographer Gu Jiani presents her latest work, the acclaimed contemporary dance Right & Left, in its Los Angeles premier. Performed by Gu and dancer Wang Xuanqi, the work is a haunting exploration of human relationships that uses little more than delicately poised bodies, two chairs, and the play of shadows to examine themes of unity and its dissolution. This program is made possible with generous support from the Cheng Family Foundation.
