Janek Tabencki Dombrowa, AIA is principal owner of the firm J.T.D Architects where he has worked on projects such as the Eastside Gateway, a 600,000 s.f. retail complex in West Hollywood, CA. Janek was associated with Anshen + Allen Architects, where he was the Senior Project Designer of a 90,000 s.f. addition and renovation of teaching laboratories, classrooms, auditoria, and support structure for Santa Monica City College. Janek was also associated with Eric Owen Moss, Architect as a Senior Designer. There, he worked on projects including a parking expansion and various tenant build-outs within a 56,000 s.f. complex of a warehouse adaptive re-use conversion.

Janek has received the LA Institute of Architects Award, the Housing Redevelopment Award of Excellence, and First Place in Competition Design of Santa Monica City College as a Senior Design Architect. Janek has served as a visiting critic at Otis Parsons, SCI-ARCH, USC, the University of Arizona, and Texas A & M.
