CIS-TECO Summer Fellowship Opportunity
USC's Center for International Studies seeks candidates for a summer fellowship with focus on Taiwan studies.

The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) Summer Fellowships will be offered to USC graduate students studying in the field of international relations with a particular focus on Taiwan studies.
Each summer, one graduate student will be selected to carry out research in Taiwan for a period of four (4) weeks. Award recipients will be selected by the CIS faculty based upon scholastic achievement and academic potential. Fellowship recipients must be US citizens and this must be their first visit to Taiwan.
To apply, please submit a statement of no more than 1000 words about the nature of the project and plans for use of time while in Taiwan. Two letters of recommendation also are required. Applications can be dropped off at the CIS office (SOS B1) or can be emailed to lascis@usc.edulascis@usc.edu.
The deadline is February 13, 2009. Winners will be announced in March 2009.
